The "U" In Jesus

                        
" For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 (NIV)

THE U IN JESUS

 Before U were thought of or time had begun,
God stuck U in the name of His Son.

And each time U pray, you'll see it's true,
You can't spell out JesUs and not include U.
You're a pretty big part of His wonderful name,
For U, He was born; that's why He came.

And His great love for U is the reason He died.
It even takes U to spell crUcified.

Isn't it thrilling and splendidly grand
He rose from the dead, with U in His plan?

The stones split away, the gold trUmpet blew,
And this word resUrrection is spelled with a U.

When JesUs left earth at His Upward ascension,
He felt there was one thing He just had to mention.

"Go into the world and tell them it's true
That I love them all - Just like I love U."

So many great people are spelled with a U,
Don't they have a right to know JesUs too?

It all depends now on what U will do,
He'd like them to know,
But it all starts with U.

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, there is none like You.  What love You possess to send Your one and only Son to die for my sins and the sins of the world.  It is very humbling to know that Jesus was thinking about me when He was on the cross. Help me and each person reading this blog to remember that we are very important to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  In Your Word, Jesus tells us that He desires a personal relationship with us.  Like we would any family member or friend whom we trust, help us to take our burdens to Him, talk to Him and walk with Him.  Help us to desire His presence in our lives.  May we follow Him all the days of our life, telling others about His love and sacrifice until that day when we will see Him face to face.  It is in His name that I pray. Amen.
